PHARMACY COUNCIL OF INDIA (PCI) - The Pharmacy education and profession in India is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 passed by the Parliament. It is expedient to make better provision for the regulation of the profession and practice of pharmacy and for that purpose to constitute Pharmacy Councils". The PCI was constituted on 9.8.49 under section 3 of the Pharmacy Act with the objectives to regulate the Pharmacy Education in the Country for the purpose of registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act and to regulate Profession and Practice of Pharmacy. The main functions and duties are to prescribe minimum standard of education required for qualifying as a pharmacist, Framing of Education Regulations prescribing the conditions to be fulfilled by the institutions seeking approval of the PCI for imparting education in pharmacy, to ensure uniform implementation of the educational standards throughout the country, inspection of Pharmacy Institutions seeking approval under the Pharmacy Act to verify availability of the prescribed norms and much more.

ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL TEACHERS OF INDIA - an association found by the pioneers of Pharmacy education in India in 1966 by leading personalities like Prof. M. L. Schroff, Prof. G. P Srivastava and others, has come a long way in creating better intercommunication and promotion of excellence in pharmacy education. Through its tailor-made mission and objectives, the association has provided a single platform in bringing together teachers of pharmacy education from all over the country. This has helped in the achievement of excellent standards and to develop new technological methods in pharmacy education through the exchange of views amongst the teaching members.

ABU ALI IBN SINO BUKHARA STATE MEDICAL INSTITUTE - is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Bukhara (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). It was founded in 1990, officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Uzbekistan. Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute (BuxDTI) is a small (2,000-2,999 students) co-educational higher education institution. Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute (BuxDTI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 30 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.

Established in the year 2009, Medanta Institute and Education Research Centre (MIER) is a pioneering institute for research and medical discourse at Medanta -The Medicity, which is a Multi-super specialty Healthcare Institution housing more than 30 institutes, department and divisions (at Gurugram). MIER has reviewed and conducted more than 850 protocols and its adept Ethics Committee is registered with Indian FDA (also auditing the Research Centre), OHRP and FWA. It has committed JCI and NABH accredited center, 63 bedded DGCI approved facility for BA/BE, Phase 1 and POC studies with metabolic kitchen and real time telemetric data collection (Mortara). Besides, the Institute earnestly offers trained research personnel alongside Quality Assurance, multifarious National and International academic and innovative collaborations. Development of Medtech, POC and validation of AI tools are few of the many progressive and inventive approaches adapted and implemented by the Institute.
